Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Finesse Marketing ("we", "us") collects, why, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tags, and it has no forms. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to reply and to provide the services you ask about.
Client information
When a business engages us, we hold the contact details of the people we work with and the business information needed to deliver and invoice the work. We use it only for that engagement.
Google Ads data and our campaign tools
Our in-house software connects to the Google Ads API using a Google account that clients have granted access to their Google Ads accounts, directly or through our manager account. Through it we read campaign settings and performance data, and we create or change campaigns, keywords, ads, audiences and budgets when the client has approved that work.
- We access only the Google Ads accounts our clients have given us access to, and only for the work they have engaged us to do.
- We use the data to manage those accounts and to report results to that client. We do not sell it, rent it, use it for advertising profiles, or combine one client's data with another's.
- The tools are used only by Finesse Marketing staff. Access credentials are kept in protected credential storage, not in files or code.
- Report data is stored in our Google Workspace and on our work computer, and kept while we work with the client and as needed for our records afterwards. A client can ask us to delete it when the engagement ends.
- Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the client it belongs to, with the platforms needed to do the work (such as Google and Meta), and with service providers we use to run the business, such as Google Workspace and our accounting software. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing john@finessemarketing.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
